I am also paralized but not from a spinal cord injury. I was born with Spinabifida and lead a very normal life. I watch Remember the Titans every time it is on. It has become my favorite movie. I think all that Gerry did during his short life for people with disabilities was very admirable. I admire his courage so very much. I am glad to see that you have not let his hard work die with him. Sincerely, Leslie

God bless the Bertier family for sharing such a personal but sad story with the world. The movie was incredible and every time it's on I drive my husband crazy because I won't turn this movie away even though I own the movie. I love it. I could watch it everyday. Thank you so very much. : )

I saw this moving again for the second time today. I have a short attention span for watching movies, but as with the first time I was riveted to the TV. God Bless Gerry's family, his friends and those who love and still support him.

This is one of my favorite movies, and FAVORITE football/sports movie. The movie can only hold a candle to the true story, the perserverance of Gerry, Julius and the entire team and community. I will always look up to those who had a part in such a great story. God bless all.

I also knew Gary; I did not know Gary who lived in a wheelchair - I only knew Gary as the guy who loved my best friend (and she loved him),the guy who loved to play basketball, the guy who never was bummed out, the guy who could do whatever he made his mind up to do. Strong, happy and always smiling. He was and is an inspiration.!
